Grilled Turkey Burger

This simple recipe for grilled turkey burgers is a tasty and healthy alternative to beef burgers. Great for a summer barbecue or any time you want a tasty burger without feeling bad about it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onion
  • 4 slices of cheese optional
  • Ketchup and mustard for topping

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl

Mix everything together well

Cut the turkey mixture into four equal parts and shape each one into a burger patty

Place the turkey burger patties on a grill that has already been heated up

Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C

If you want to use cheese, add a slice to each burger right before it's done cooking

Put the whole wheat burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown

Put a turkey patty, lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and red onion on the bottom half of each bun to make a turkey burger

Feel free to add more ketchup and mustard if you like

Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot

Have fun with your tasty turkey burger!
