Waffles with Attitude



These waffles aren't like other breakfast foods. They are full of chocolate chips, pretzels, and candied ginger, which makes for a unique and tasty flavor combination that will make your taste buds wake up. This is a great waffle recipe for a special brunch or when you want something different.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup chopped candied ginger

Instructions:

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined

Gently fold in the chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, and chopped candied ginger

Seafood Margherita Pasta



This Seafood Margherita Pasta is a delicious mix of seafood and traditional Italian flavors. In a garlic-infused olive oil sauce, succulent shrimp, scallops, and mussels are mixed with linguine, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil. The result is a colorful and filling dish.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb mixed seafood shrimp, scallops, and mussels
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze optional

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to cook the linguine until it is al dente

Remove the water and set it aside

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat

For about one minute, until the garlic smells good, add the minced garlic

While the shrimp is still pink, the scallops should be clear, and the mussels should be open

This should take about 5 to 7 minutes

Add the sliced tomatoes and torn basil leaves and mix them in

Add pepper and salt to taste

Toss the cooked linguine with the seafood mixture in the pan after adding it

If you want, you can serve the seafood margherita pasta hot with grated Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top

Frozen Olaf Inspired Cupcakes



These Frozen Olaf Inspired Cupcakes are a delightful treat for any Frozen fan. They feature vanilla cupcakes transformed into Olaf's lovable snowman character with marshmallow eyes, chocolate chip buttons, and a bright orange carrot nose. Perfect for birthday parties or themed gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of vanilla cupcake mix
  • Water, oil, and eggs as required by cupcake mix
  • White frosting
  • Orange food coloring
  • Chocolate chips
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Black decorating gel

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to make the vanilla cupcake mix by adding the water, oil, and eggs as directed

You can make Olaf's nose orange by adding orange food coloring to the cupcake batter

Combine well

Fill a cupcake pan with cupcake liners and fill each one two thirds of the way to the top with the orange cupcake batter

Follow the directions on the package to bake the cupcakes until they are golden brown and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

It takes about 15 to 20 minutes on average

On a wire rack, let the cupcakes cool all the way down

Once the cupcakes are cool, use white frosting to make Olaf's body around each one

At the very top of each cupcake, press two small marshmallows into the frosting to make Olaf's eyes

To make Olaf's eyes, put a chocolate chip on each marshmallow with a small amount of frosting

You can make Olaf's carrot nose out of a small amount of frosting and an orange chocolate chip

Last, draw Olaf's mouth and eyebrows on the frosting with black decorating gel

After the cupcakes have set, serve them and enjoy your Frozen Olaf-themed cupcakes!

RAW VEGAN RECIPE: Heavenly Vanilla Almond Milk



Indulge in the creamy richness of homemade vanilla almond milk, made from wholesome raw ingredients. This dairy-free delight is perfect for vegans and anyone seeking a nutritious alternative to traditional milk.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 2-3 dates, pitted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean, scraped
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Soak the raw almonds in water overnight or for at least 8 hours

Drain and rinse the soaked almonds thoroughly

In a blender, combine the soaked almonds, filtered water, pitted dates, vanilla extract or scraped vanilla bean, and a pinch of salt

Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, usually about 2-3 minutes

Strain the almond milk through a nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer to remove any almond pulp
