Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds, for garnish optional
- Green onions, sliced, for garnish optional
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Put orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan
Over medium-low heat, bring to a boil
To make a slurry, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl
Pour the slurry into the saucepan slowly while whisking all the time
Do this for about two minutes, or until the sauce thickens
Take it off the heat
In a baking dish, put chicken breasts
Cover every breast of chicken with the orange sauce as you pour it over them
Take the chicken out of the oven and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it's fully cooked and no longer pink in the middle
The juices should run clear
If you want, you can add sesame seeds and sliced green onions as a garnish before serving
